[SAAF/RAF Memorial]

Heard a big splash and a row this morning, went outside to find Uzo very wet. He went solo, after a failed attempt a few days ago. Brad, his instructor, also went into the water.

I didn't have a flight booked today, but found Daniel in the morning. He asked me to meet him at 15:00 to go through my Training Log and my Ops Log; as there was a discrepancy between them of hours flown so far.

Saw Frik at lunchtime, he enquired about my hours and I explained the situation. He told me that the last five hours of the fifty must be on simulators. We also spoke about the headsets; which were/are loaned to us while out here. Paul took his home, and they aren't cheap bits of equipment, so a small disagreement is brewing.

Finally got the details of my flight home, and spent ages trying to send some emails; the signal has been especially poor today. Got to Daniel in the afternoon and we compared the books. The Ops entry of 42.2 was right. This means that I have only 2.8 hours flying time left, and five hours simulator time. I might try and save the flying time until the end; and have more time flying in one flight, rather than wasting time taxi-ing in two.
