[Numpties]

Another flightless day. I did catch up with Daniel; we have a flying slot booked tomorrow, and I asked if we could change it to a sim slot. He's going to try for me, but unfortunately because of the new intake he is unable to teach me himself. I asked Andrew Parker but he is also too busy, but he did still give me a good briefing on it all.

I was trying to watch the film "Flyboys" on my laptop, but it kept crashing. Luckily I was distracted from this by a call from home. There are a few pressing issues to sort out when I get back, but it seems that all is well.

I have a lot of spare time on my hands. It feels as though I am wasting it, but there isn't that much to do around here. The worthwhile pursuits and places to visit are out of reach.

Neale rang later on and invited me out for a beer. Soon after we piled into the bucky and set off for town.
