Hopefully (and probably) the last day without much action. All day the wind has been gale force and while I had a slot booked at 11:00, we decided to wait until 15:00.
Between then and lunch I got chatting with Andrew. He was about to conduct a simulator session with a student, and offered me the chance to sit in. It was good to go and watch what was going on, both in the cockpit and at the control desk.
My flying slot with Daniel was blown out at 15:00. I asked about getting all of my hours flown, both in the air and the sim. He hasn't enough time to do the sim time with me, but left a note for Scott Holmes to try and get some slots. We have another flying slot booked for tomorrow.
I had and still hope to have everything done and dusted by Sunday; leaving enough time to pack, unpack, repack, wrap another case around the main one with clingfilm, etc!

Rich,
Wow, that close to coming home and still more to do!! Great to see you still giving it your best shot. Good luck for the next few days.
