After yesterday's downpour, today was an absolutely beautiful day. I wish I were flying!

Instead, I had another sim session at 09:00, but this time with Daniel. Did a few more turns, but focused more on using navigational aids like VORs and NDBs to fly towards/away a beacon at different angles, or radials.

I also had another slot at 13:00; this time things got a bit more tricky. Daniel chucked in the odd system and/or instrument failure. I tried to better remember the procedures for instrument flying, and to improve my control of the sim.

Left a message on Scott's/Daniel's board to try and grab my last hour of sim, and/or flying time over the weekend. It looks unlikely but hopefully I'll finish everything on Monday, and hopefully I'll pack properly this weekend.

Had a pretty chilled out night at Oddfellows tonight, on my last Friday in PA and the night on which ownership changes hands. We promised to return tomorrow to say my final farewells.

The sim practice sounds good, wish I'd had a go now!
