Ross and I flew to the East Coastal sector and made a series of tight turns, a couple of stalls and a few forced landing practices before returning to FAPA. There were about eight aircraft already in the circuit, so we had to orbit and wait for a gap to full stop rather than practice circuits as we'd planned. During the flight Ross said that I'd be going solo now if I had my SPL; definitely seem to have the knack of maintaining altitude and making the aircraft do what I want.
Neale passed his Air Law exam today which is fantastic news. He and the rest of the class in our block have been moved to the other side of the airbase. With only a few days to go for Rae, and just over a week for us FSD/RIAT guys, it's sensible to stay put.
Went up with Daniel for the 15:00 slot and enjoyed it. I did a number of circuits and it was all pretty processional. Daniel seems quite pleased with my handling and I dare say that I've polished off flying in the circuit.
While out celebrating and warming up for Rae's leaving do tomorrow, me and Waldo managed to fall over hard. Luckily I haven't broken anything, but the top of my leg is shouting at me for it. Hopefully it'll be alright tomorrow, as I have a long navigational exercise ahead of me.
