Did more circuit practice this morning with Daniel, paying particular attention to landing and when/how to round off. Again the more I practiced the better I got and I dare say that I am to a good standard. Always room for improvement of course!

Got a call from home today, because I hadn't yet published yesterday's blog and they were wondering whether I got the SPL. Obviously broke the bad news, which still smarts a lot. Good to speak to them though.

In the evening Ben, Paul, Neale, Ray, Steve and I had an absolutely cracking barbecue, or "Brai" as they call it here. We shared many laughs and looked back over the time we've spent together so far, and remarked on how soon it will end. While the stress and anxiety weighs a lot, the two things that I have enjoyed the most is the flying and the friends; who are more than worth the hassle and disappointment of yesterday.
